Kristen M. Jackson is from Detroit, Michigan, moved to Florida as a child and considers herself a Central Floridian. She was admitted to Florida Bar in 1984 after graduating from The University of Stetson College of Law located in St. Petersburg, Florida and has been practicing in Orlando, Florida for over 27 years. Kristen practices estate planning, elder law, Special Needs and Medicaid planning, probate, real estate, business, bankruptcy and immigration law while her firm, with a team of attorneys, offers a full line of legal services. She provides full line of estate planning services that include wills, living trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, charitable trusts, durable powers of attorney, living wills, health care surrogates, probate, trust administration, and more. She is computer literate and, with the state-of-the-art computerized technology in place at her firm, she can quickly and efficiently draft documents and electronically access unlimited legal resources needed to provide timely and quality service to her clients.
In addition to her practice as an attorney, Kristen also holds a Series 7 Securities license, a Florida Life, Health and Variable Annuity insurance license and is a Florida Certified Public Accountant. She assists clients in establishing, acquiring and selling businesses as well as preparing business agreements.
In the area of real estate, Kristen’s practice focuses on real estate transactions including preparation, review and negotiating contracts, closings, title searches, and issuing title insurance policies for residential and commercial real estate clients. Her interest in this area developed out of a background in construction, interior design and construction litigation. In addition to her many impressive credentials, Kristen has a degree in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale and she is also a Florida State Certified General Contractor. Her construction and design talents were put to the test when she successfully pulled together a 200 man team to assist in the opening of Universal Studio’s Islands of Adventure theme park and Citywalk complex in Orlando.
